This Privacy Policy explains how CFB Consulting Services LLC dba The Mortgage Strategist ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Chantelle Davis, collects, uses and protects information when you use the OWNit $10K in 100 Days savings challenge app at 10kin100days.iamchantelle.com (the "App"), sign up for the challenge, or receive text messages or emails from us.

Our text messaging promise: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This does not include service providers that help us deliver messages to you, as described below.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join the challenge, we collect your first and last name, mobile phone number, email address, and the text messaging consent choices you make.
Messages you send us. If you reply to a text or email, or contact us by phone, we keep that communication so we can respond.
Your challenge progress. The amounts you mark as saved are stored only on your own device, in your browser's storage. We do not receive or see your progress. Clearing your browser data or deleting the App removes it.
Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the App running. The App loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address.

How we use your information

To send the challenge reminders, check-ins and milestone messages you asked for.
If you agreed to marketing messages, to send homebuyer tips, credit tips and offers related to our real estate and mortgage services.
To answer your questions and, when you ask, to help you explore homeownership or financing options.
To operate, secure and improve the App, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With service providers that work on our behalf, such as our customer relationship and messaging platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), our website host (Netlify) and our email provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
When required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of you, us or others.
If you apply for a mortgage, information you provide in that separate application is handled under the privacy notice of the lender you apply with.

Your choices

Text messages: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You may receive one final message confirming you have opted out.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
Access or deletion: email chantelle@iamchantelle.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We may keep records we are legally required to keep.

How long we keep information

We keep your contact information while you are in the challenge or remain in contact with us, and afterward only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, and the App is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The App and our messages are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
